Heath & Safety

Our team at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden has one priority - to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved with our events - fans, players, sponsors, media, vendors and staff.

As we prepare to host a series of major events at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden this fall, our team has one priority above all else – to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved with these events – fans, players, sponsors, media, vendors and staff.

To that end, we are in continuous consultation with a committee of expert advisors, including medical professionals, government officials and tennis industry stakeholders. The committee is headed by Dr. David Agus, Professor of Medicine and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Southern California.

Major Events
For all major events such as the 2021 BNP Paribas Open, valid proof of full vaccination is required in order to enter the Indian Wells Tennis Garden. To keep all patrons on site as safe as possible, no exceptions to this policy will be allowed. Further details on the vaccination verification process will be provided as events draws closer.

Depending on the COVID-19 conditions at the time of our events beginning this fall, additional testing as well as mask mandates in certain seating areas may be required by the Riverside County health department and the state of California.

General Club Safety
For those who are fully vaccinated, wearing a mask while indoors is optional. Individuals who are not fully vaccinated are required to wear a mask whenever indoors. Any changes in policy or availability of access will be communicated appropriately.

We look forward to welcoming you back to Tennis Paradise!
